I went to see my brother, sister in law and nephew, Rowan in North Carolina. While we were there we went to my sister-in-laws job in Akland, North Carolina. Afterwards we went out to pizza on Saturday.
On Sunday we went to meet my dad’s friend. We went to Mints, an Indian restaurant. I had a great weekend spending time with my family especially my nephew who is 2 years old.

Cat Rescue 4
Published December 5, 2018 by chawlamonica1Last Friday I found out Little J and Miss Spitz got adopted. This week Layla let me pet her. I hope she gets adopted soon. She may be big but she is very gentle. I really like going to cat rescue, because I like to help animals in need. I feel all animals need a family.

Cat Rescue Part 4
Published November 6, 2018 by chawlamonica1Cat Rescue part 3
On this past Friday I went back to volunteer at the cat rescue. I found out that Sheba and Silver were adopted. I also learned that they received a new cat named Tuxie. He’s black with a little white. He likes to be pet on his head but does not like to be pet on his back. He is very lazy; he likes to sleep a lot. I really hope he gets adopted. It would really make me happy to see more people volunteer to help with animal rescues.
Outreach 3
On October 9th I went back to the Outreach Center. I packed Christmas lights and decorations for 2 senior centers. After I was finished packing those items, I delivered the decorations to the 2 senior centers. One was in Amityville, and the other was in Lindenhurst. I really enjoy my volunteer work with the center. It’s a great place to volunteer and they could use more help.
